Are you organized, community-minded, and passionate about supporting community basketball?

The Bayside Warriors Basketball Club is looking for a dedicated Club Secretary to support the smooth operation of our committee and help drive the club’s vision and mission forward.

We are looking for a volunteer who has:​​

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.

  • Passion for basketball and community involvement.

The important work you'll do:​​

  • Support the President in the day-to-day running of the club.

  • Attend and chair monthly committee meetings as the club Secretary.

  • Prepare and distribute agendas and minutes for all committee meetings.

  • Ensure club governance and compliance with incorporation rules.

  • Oversee key milestones, such as the Annual General Meeting and financial submissions.

  • Assist the Registrar in onboarding players and maintaining smooth registration processes.

  • Assist the Treasurer with administrative financial duties as needed.​​

Time Commitment:​​

  • Approximately 3-6 hours per week,  with some flexibility depending on club activities and events.
