BWB Community and Sponsorship officer
Are you passionate about building community connections and fostering partnerships? Do you enjoy organizing events, creating engaging digital content, and working with sponsors to support youth sports?
The Bayside Warriors Basketball Club is looking for a Community Engagement Officer to drive sponsorships, promote the club, and strengthen its ties to the community.
We are looking for a volunteer who has:

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Experience in digital content creation and event coordination (preferred).

A passion for basketball, and community engagement.
The important work you'll do:

Build relationships with schools, businesses, and community groups.

Represent the club at community events to showcase its mission and values.

Secure sponsorships and promote partners through Spond, newsletters and social media.

Collaborate with the committee to organize sponsorship events and initiatives.

Attend committee meetings to share updates and align with club activities.

Keep families informed through digital communications.
Time Commitment:

Approximately 3-6 hours per week, with additional hours during community or sponsorship events.
